- Tombstone Courthouse State Historic Park: Home to many sites in the legendary Wild West town of Tombstone.

- Tubac Presidio State Historic Park: Preserves the ruins of the Presidio and also gives a timeline of the settlement of the area.
- Tumacacori National Historical Park: Park protects ruins of three Spanish mission communities.
Tucson
- Arizona-Sonora Desert Museum: Contains a zoo, aquarium, botanical garden and natural history museum.
- Ironwood Forest National Monument: Preserving the forest of ironwood trees, this is located in the Sonoran Desert.
- The Mini Time Machine Museum of Miniatures: Come explore the history of the world through the use of miniature dioramas.
- Mission Garden: This is a living agricultural museum.
- Sabino Canyon: Beautiful canyon area to explore north of Tucson.
- Saguaro National Park: Home to the giant saguaro cactus!
Willcox
- Chiricahua National Monument: Area protects extensive hoodoos and balancing rocks.
