Orange City is one of a few Dutch towns in Iowa that really plays up their Dutch heritage. They have a really neat Windmill Park located in the town square area. Most of the windmills were donated by the same family. It’s a beautiful space.
They also have an awesome giant Dutch wooden shoe that you can get some great photo ops in.
We also drove a little further through town to check out Northwestern campus. While out that way, we stumbled upon the Chamber of Commerce, which is, you guessed it, located in a giant windmill. The Fareway grocery store across the street was also very Dutch themed.
We also stopped by a coffee shop downtown which was very hip and it was attached to an awesome gift shop that had crafts from all over the world.
